Program Overview
Our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) provides comprehensive, community-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric challenges. Services are delivered in accordance with Maryland Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) standards and COMAR regulations to promote recovery, stability, and improved quality of life.
OMHC services are designed to support individuals and families through accessible, evidence-based outpatient care.
Eligibility
Individuals may be eligible for OMHC services if they:
- Have a diagnosed or suspected mental health disorder
- Meet Maryland BHA medical necessity criteria
- Are appropriate for outpatient treatment
- Are referred by a healthcare provider or self-referred (as permitted)
- For minors, have parent or legal guardian consent

Referrals
Referrals are accepted from hospitals, primary care providers, behavioral health professionals, schools (when appropriate), care coordinators, and self-referrals, in accordance with Maryland BHA guidelines.
